emPLANT students have the chance to participate to the World Seed Congress 2019 in Nice, France.

During that event, dozens of companies from the seed and breeding sector are present as well as hundreds of participants from the world of work. It is a unique occasion for the students to learn from the professionals and to create a lot of contacts for their future.

In addition to assist to different conferences, the students are also actors of the congress. Indeed, they are part of the logistics team for some days.

Moreover they have the chance to take part on stage to a meeting about the challenges their countries are facing toward climate changes and how plant breeding can help. To finish, they present during one day their case study to the industry and discuss with members of diverse companies.
