For the 2026–2028 academic period, the programme has not received Erasmus Mundus funding from the European Commission. As a result, no Erasmus Mundus scholarships will be available for the next two intakes of students.

The Master’s programme will nevertheless continue to be offered by the emPLANT Consortium. Applications remain open, and the programme will be accessible to self-funded students who wish to benefit from its international curriculum and the expertise of the partner universities.

To support outstanding applicants, the Consortium will offer a limited number of partial scholarships to help reduce tuition fees and facilitate access to the programme. Further information on eligibility criteria and the application process will be communicated during the admission campaign.

The Consortium continues to bring together six recognised European higher education institutions:

• – University of Helsinki, Finland
• – University of Milan, Italy
• – Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain

Students will continue to benefit from the programme’s international dimension, including the established mobility tracks across the partner universities and close collaboration with associated partners from academia, research, and industry.
