The launching of emPLANT cohort 2 occured on August 29, 2019 on the campus of UniLaSalle, the Erasmus Mundus Master Program in Plant Breeding coordinator.

This year we have the pleasure to welcome 32 students from 18 different nationalities. For this occasion a conference on “The importance of plant breeding and seed production nowadays and in the future” has been given by:

• Catherine Langat from Euroseeds
• Aude Fonteny from KWS

The conference was so interesting that a 40 minutes session of questions asked by the assembly followed.
